P5 Rm10 mr owens

 Hello and welcome to Primary 5 with Mr. Owens!

This year we are engaging with interesting topics such as Scottish Castles & Clans, International Events, Country Comparison and Engineering as well as some exciting trips throughout the year. More information will be shared closer to the time. 

Since the children will be engaging more with second level, in preparation for P6, P7 and beyond, there will be a focus on our school values of being ready, safe and respectful in and out of school. As we are a GOLD accredited rights respecting school, we will continue to develop learners’ understanding of their rights by connecting lessons and life experiences to our classroom charter.

I am very passionate about Music and the children will be given many opportunities to learn how to play an instrument, Music Theory and Music History.

This year, PE will be taught by Mr. Wright on a Thursday and on a Tuesday afternoon with Mr. Owens. Room 10 will have the opportunity to develop their independence and organisational skills by planning for their own PE.

Mrs. Watt will be working with P5 on a Friday afternoon– where the children will develop their digital skills.
